Flu Clinics
Please note that this year there are 3 different flu vaccinations. This will benefit patients by ensuring that they have the most suitable vaccine that gives them the best protection against flu. The three vaccines are for the following groups of patients:
- One for patients aged 2 years old to less than 18 years of age (GP surgeries will only vaccinate children aged 2 & 3 years old or those in an at risk group).
- One for patients aged from 6 months to 2 years and in adults from 18 years to 64 years old in an at risk group
- One for patients aged 65 years old and over
We will take phased delivery of these vaccines over the months of September, October and November. This has been determined by the suppliers.
We will be sending out invitations to patients who qualify for the flu vaccine in stages to ensure we have adequate supplies to run clinics.
Once you receive your invitation please ensure you contact the surgery without delay to book your appointment.
