Shingles Vaccination

if you were aged 70,78 or 79 on 1st September, you are eligible for a shingles vaccination. please ask reception for an appointment.

Online appointments and repeat prescription ordering

We have launched a new service for appointments and repeat ordering.  please contact the reception to register for this service.

We pride ourselves on our friendly family style approach to patient care. We are a three partner GP practice with a full time practice nurse and currently have a patient list of approximately 5500 patients.

Please DO NOT attend the GP Surgery, Pharmacy of Hospital if you have either of the below symptoms

  • New and continuous cough     and/or
  • A fever or 37.8 degrees

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ

With immediate effect we will be moving to a telephone triage system where every patient will be screened and advised accordingly to try and prevent unnecessary footfall into the surgery.

Please DO NOT attend the GP Surgery unless you have an appointment booked which has been triaged by a clinician - please ring reception for all queries.

As you will appreciate these are unusual times and the situation is constantly evolving, we are doing everything possible to ensure we are still delivering a clinically safe service for all our patients.

Anyone who currently has a pre-booked appointment will be contacted over the coming days for triage to ensure all guidelines are being followed.

We do appreciate your support during this period, all staff are working extremely had to minimise where possible any impact to our patients.

Prescriptions Requests

***Coronavirus - COVID-19*** - please note we will be allowing prescription requests to made over the phone during this period only. We ask that were possible you avoid ringing the surgery in a morning to order/discuss prescriptions, this is to ensure surgery phone lines are accessible for anyone with an urgent need. At this point you will be asked to register for online services if you havent done so already and everyone will be asked to nominate a pharmacy so prescriptions can be received electronically.

Please allow a minimum of 48 hours to process your repeat prescriptions.

Please DO NOT ring the surgery to check if your prescription is ready.

Prescriptions will be ready 48 hours after they have been requested. Thank you for your consideration and continued support.
